Jack Russell Terriers were actually a strain of working terrier
begun by parson Jhon Russell (Jack,to his hunting buddies)in

intense hunt and dog enthusiast according to legend, while
studying at Oxford Russell bought a dog named Trump from

among the horsey set.Later they were kept as ratters and
mousers to keep the stables and feed vermin-free.Many
owners hunt with the dogs,ridding farms of
groundhogs,racoons,and possums.There have been ocasions
when the dogs encountered skunks underground and were
overcome by their scent and killed.
